First Successful Farmer to Receive Green Tractor
It has been announced that Muhammad Yasin son of Muhammad Ashraf residing in Okara is the first successful farmer to receive a green tractor under this program who has received the first tractor from the Punjab Green Tractor Scheme.
Similarly, Talib Hussain, son of Muhammad Hussain, who lives in Chakwal, got the second tractor from the Punjab Green Tractor Program. And Ghulam Akbar’s father, Haji Ghulam Hussain, who lives in Dera Ghazi Khan, got the third tractor from the Punjab Green Tractor Scheme. In a press conference, it was further revealed that 339 farmers living in Okara, 111 living in Chakwal, and 276 living in Dera Ghazi Khan have been able to get green tractors through this program. A total of 9500 farmers will be given financial assistance under this Green Tractor Scheme. With a subsidy of Rs 10 lakh on each tractor, farmers will be provided quality farming facilities at a low cost enabling access to facilities.
