    On the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a Livestock Kisan Card has been issued by the Punjab Government in Rawalpindi Division as well. The purpose of this card is to provide financial assistance to cattle farmers so that they can take better care of their cattle and also increase their monthly income.

    On the instructions of Secretary Livestock Punjab Saqib Ali and Director General Livestock Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Director Livestock Rawalpindi Division Dr. Naveed Sahrzaidi has started awareness in all districts so that more farmers can benefit from this Kisan Card. All the veterinary hospitals and dispensaries of Rawalpindi Division have displayed awareness posters and special front desks.

    It also been set up to guide the poor farmers. Through this facility, complete information is being provided to the farmers on how to obtain and use the Kisan Card. The objective is to make the process of obtaining credit for the purchase of fodder and mineral compounds much easier for the farmers and their livestock. Medicines.

    Latest Update About Livestock Kisan Card

    Under the Livestock Kisan Card, people rearing cattle can get an interest-free loan of Rs 1,35,000 to Rs 2,70,000 for their cattle from the Punjab Government. These loans will be provided by Bank Punjab and there will be no additional markup on them. This facility will help poor farmers to take good care of their cattle without additional financial burden. This will further improve their productivity.

    Moreover, from November 5, 2024, Chief Minister Punjab Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif is also releasing the mobile application of livestock cards. Through this poor farmers will be able to complete their registration easily from their mobile phones. This application will make the registration process much easier and faster for the farmers and they can get the benefits of this Kisan Card immediately.
